The Instrumental Society of Calgary (ISC) is a volunteer, non-profit organization whose purpose is to continue the Society tradition of providing an outstanding, affordable chamber music concert series to Calgary audiences. The ISC focuses on providing a stage for Calgary based chamber musicians to showcase some of their favorite music in an intimate 'chamber' environment to an audience as eclectic as the performers.
The means and needs of the Society adjust according to our volunteer base on an annual basis. Assistance in any form is always welcome. Please feel at ease to contact the Artistic Director, Gianetta Baril, with any suggestions for the betterment of the ISC at your convenience. The Instrumental Society welcomes you to our web pages and encourages all to our concert series. With the participation of commited music lovers in Calgary, we strive to develop the best chamber concert series our city musicians can offer.
