The John Reid Quintet presents Year Five of its series of tributes to jazz greats — the Year of the Saxophone! While previous programmes focused on a single artist, this year the Quintet features five grand masters of the saxophone, all great performers/ improvisers as well as fine composers: Cannonball Adderley, John Coltrane, Dexter Gordon, Sonny Rollins, and Wayne Shorter.
